We allow 90 minutes to 2 hours per dome, and like a short rest, perhaps a snack, between them.

You won’t see everything on a single visit, but after 2 hours, we feel we’ve been there long enough. There is no re-admission.

To enjoy the plants, you need to finish your visit by 6:30pm, when the light starts to fade, although the flower display in Flower Dome looks good after dark.

The Orchid Garden in the Botanic Garden is another place worth visiting, it has similar plants to Cloud Forest in its coolhouse, but it’s a lot smaller.
