Loss of Passport
Lost passports can be reported online via Singpass using ICA’s e-Service, or in person at the ICA Services Centre. When reporting online, you must provide details such as your personal particulars, passport number (if known), and the circumstances of the loss. For in-person reporting, you must bring an alternative identification document. (ica.gov.sg)
If you are overseas when the passport goes missing, you can report the loss to the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission (embassy or consulate) or use the online service. After reporting, you may apply for a replacement passport, typically starting the next working day. Consular officers can assist with emergency travel documents if you need to travel urgently. There is a non-refundable fee for issuing a replacement passport. The exact fee depends on your age and the type of passport service requested. In addition to the standard passport issuance charge, there is an additional charge for reporting a lost passport. (ica.gov.sg)
ICA advises keeping a copy of your passport details in a separate and secure place to facilitate reporting if the original is lost.
