Change of Passport Particulars or Residential Address for Student’s Pass Holder
Changes such as a new passport number, change in passport expiry date, or issuance of a new passport require an update with ICA as soon as possible. Similarly, if a Student’s Pass holder moves to a new residential address — whether within Singapore or from overseas — the updated address must be reported promptly.
These updates can be submitted online through ICA’s e-Service using Singpass. The online form allows pass holders to enter the new passport particulars or residential address and upload supporting documents, such as a copy of the new passport or proof of residence.
For passport changes, the following information is typically required: the new passport number, date of issue, expiry date, and a clear copy or scan of the new passport biodata page. For address changes, pass holders must provide the new address details and may be asked for proof of residence, such as a tenancy agreement or utility bill.
Pass holders should notify ICA of any such changes within 7 days of the change taking effect. Failure to update passport particulars or residential address within the required timeframe may result in compliance issues or delays in receiving important notices regarding the Student’s Pass.
