Singapore Botanic Gardens
The Gardens are home to an extensive collection of flora, with more than 10,000 plant species including a remarkable variety of orchids, gingers, palms and cycads. A highlight for many visitors is the National Orchid Garden, where over 1,000 orchid species and around 2,000 hybrids are displayed in beautifully arranged landscapes.
In addition to the orchid collection, the Singapore Botanic Gardens offers multiple themed zones and attractions such as Swan Lake, Symphony Lake and dedicated children’s areas, tranquil walking paths, scenic picnic spots and open lawns perfect for relaxation, jogging or photography.
While the main Gardens are free to enter, entry to the National Orchid Garden requires a separate ticket. The Gardens are open daily, typically from early morning until midnight, making it easy to enjoy early-morning strolls or peaceful evenings amid greenery.
Whether you’re interested in botanical history, tropical plant diversity or simply a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city, the Singapore Botanic Gardens offers a rich experience that blends nature, culture and heritage.
