Singapore Zoo
Home to more than 4,200 animals representing hundreds of species, Singapore Zoo showcases creatures from across the globe including primates, big cats, elephants, reptiles, birds and more. Its notable exhibits feature diverse zones such as Wild Africa, Fragile Forest, Reptopia and the Rainforest Kidzworld, offering visitors multiple ways to connect with wildlife. Animal shows, interactive feedings and keeper talks scheduled throughout the day add both fun and educational value to a visit.
The zoo opens daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with last admission typically around 5:00 p.m. Most guests spend 3–4 hours or more exploring the main exhibits and participating in activities, though dedicated wildlife enthusiasts may choose to stay longer or combine their visit with nearby attractions such as River Wonders or Night Safari at Mandai.
Visitors are encouraged to book tickets online in advance to ensure entry and avoid queues, and a range of ticket options — including tram rides, combo passes for multiple parks and experiences like breakfast with orangutans — are available. Amenities include dining outlets, stroller and wheelchair rentals, baby care rooms and more to enhance comfort throughout the visit.
Whether you’re spending a half-day or a full day, Singapore Zoo offers a richly rewarding experience with its mix of wildlife observation, hands-on activities and scenic rainforest setting.
