In anticipation of the Ramadan season 2026, we were invited to preview the Muhibbah Tapestry Buffet at Causeway Café, St. Giles Southkey Johor Bahru.
This year’s buffet highlights a beautiful blend of local Malaysian flavors and Mediterranean cuisine, curated by Chef Mahathir Mokhtar, Executive Sous Chef of St. Giles Southkey. From fresh ulam-ulaman, seafood on ice, live stations like naan from the tandoori oven, pasta cooked on a Grana Padano wheel, roti jala, gearbox, and classic local favorites, the spread is truly exciting.
To end the feast on a sweet note, the dessert section features an impressive variety, including the crowd-favorite Kunafa, along with many other delightful treats.
