The dishes on the set, is also available permanently on the Chen’s Kitchen menu even after CNY for 2026 except for the prosperity Yusheng.

🍲 Double boiled lotus root and pork rib soup. Clear, grounding comfort
🌶️ Mapo tofu, original or seafood. Soft heat, silky texture
🥟 Chen’s shumai. Juicy, classic, always the first to disappear
🐖 Dong po rou. Rich, glossy, melt in your mouth indulgence
🐟 Crispy red grouper with sweet and sour sauce. Balanced and crowd pleasing
🍤 Mala mayo prawns. Creamy spice that sneaks up on you
🔥 XXL la zi ji. Crunchy, aromatic, chilli done right
🥚 Conpoy steamed egg. Silky, soothing, underrated hero
🐷 Chen’s black sweet and sour pork. Deep vinegar notes, comforting
🍗 Gongbao chicken. Familiar, nutty, hearty
🥬 Szechwan french beans with mushrooms. Crunchy reset between richer dishes
🍚 Hokkaido steamed rice. Fluffy, quietly essential
🍐 Double boiled pear with snow fungus and red dates. Light, calming finish
What I liked most is how the rich dishes balanced by gentle ones. Bold flavours softened by comfort classics. That kind of thoughtfulness matters during CNY. When the food carries the night and you just get to be present 🧧✨
